A Family,
Four Generations

A timeless welcome. Tenuta il Poggetto: where the beauty of Chianti meets the warmth of family hospitality.

Un rifugio toscano: la tenuta e la sua storia

The history of Tenuta Il Poggetto is deeply intertwined with the Bordoni family, whose tradition and passion for the land have been passed down through generations. In the 1940s, with the first generation, agriculture was characterized by mixed cultivation of olive trees, vines, and wheat within a single plot of land.

In the 1970s, the planting of the first vineyard—known as the vigna vecchia—marked the beginning of a long winemaking tradition.

From the 1990s onward, the family began the construction of the residence, where they initially moved, and invested further in agriculture by planting four additional vineyards and a new olive grove, enriching the natural environment of the estate.

In 2010, following the passing of the parents, the Bordoni family (third and fourth generation) began a new chapter, preserving the values and traditions of their land. The two apartments, “La Loggia” and “La Terrazza,” were converted into holiday rentals: this marked the birth of Tenuta il Poggetto.
The new venture soon became a destination for lovers of nature and tranquility, offering an immersive experience in the beauty of the Chianti region.

Sostenibilità e tradizione,
l’impegno Eco-Friendly
